There is a staggering number of Americans who are overweight. Take a look next time you are out at the mall or somewhere that has a lot of people. My guess would be that 60% or more of people are overweight. If you look for yourself I am confident that you will find the same thing. The statistics of overweight Americans are sickening. We are consistently getting fatter and fatter as the years go by. As a culture we need to break the cycle or we are going to teach our children that it is ok to be overweight.

With technology developing so rapidly, man kind is getting lazier and lazier. People remain inactive and some get no exercise what so ever. Obesity is becoming an epidemic in developed countries. Many people are obese but do not eve realize it, or do not want to realize it. With obesity comes a whole slew of illnesses that could otherwise have been avoided. Obesity is costing the U.S. health system millions upon millions of dollars every single year. This money is used to looked after patients with obesity related illnesses.
